I’ve got my brand new shoes, and I’m ready to go to school. I met a girl named suzy lee and I asked her to walk with me, we walked through the park all around and had fun with all the things we found, I can tell that we are gonna’ be friends. We got to school by ourselves, we were dirty from our adventure in the park, but now its time to clean up and learn. We learn everything together, letters, numbers, spelling, nouns, books, and show and tell. We don’t notice time pass, we even sit together in every class, as I tell her I can tell that we are gonna’ be friends. Tonight I’ll dream everything in my head about the things we learned and the things we did and that we’ll walk together again because I can tell that we are gonna’ be friends.

I like this song because it has a great message and remiends me of times when i was in 5th grade. I also particularly like it because White Stripes is a good band who has good style, and the tune is very catchy.

This song connects to my life because i have gone through the same thoughts when i was littler in school and had a friend to hang out with in all my classes. It also connects with my life because i have known this song ever since i can remember and it has been one of my favorites by White Stripes because it makes me feel good when i listen to it.
